Peace & Love

From July 7th.

For Ringo Starr's 70th birthday he had one simple request, he asked everyone to join him in a Peace & Love moment on his birthday at noon where ever you were. "Perhaps one day everyone will have a moment of Peace & Love all over the world". You can see his wish in this video.

I decided to draw my peace & love comic in honor of that wish... I also joined in the peace and love moment in my car with the rest of the Q104.3 listeners at the beginning of the daily noon Beatles block :)

Let them eat cake

I made this cake for my boyfriend's birthday celebration this past weekend.

It's a Mets Jersey (in case you couldn't tell), with his name as the player, and since he's 30... that's the number.

I know it's not Ace of Cakes material, but I hope it's not Cake Wrecks material either!  Next time I'm going to try and use fondant... but can icing had to do this time.

B is for Birthday

I am going to kick of the week of presents I made with one of the first ones I gave out.  I created this 3-D letter B that is doodled on all sides.  It stands about 8 inches high, and 1.5 inches thick.  It was a present for my cousin Brianna for her birthday in November.  I thought it would be a cute touch to put her name on the trunk of the 'B' in raised white letters.

I'm back!!

I know it's been awhile... my work hours moved back 3 hours (12-8pm) and I'm having a little trouble adjusting to them. I have to cook my breakfast, lunch, and dinner before work, and when I get home, it's just about bed time. Even though I haven't had time to post, I have done a little bit of art work!

I made this birthday card for my boyfriend for his birthday, and a few other people got it too. I figured I created one last year or the year before birthdays... i figure I'll make a new one every year!

Happy Birthday!

I created this birthday doodle awhile back, but i just made a few tweaks to it today. I also made it into a card! You can buy the cards at my online Etsy Store.


Hopefully I can finish the bigger doodle I have been working on this week. I'm itching to finish one of the two I have started... oops 3... I started something new last night. I am infamous with starting but never finishing projects... eek! Something I should work on! But that's what this blog is supposed to be for!
