Rope
I love the texture of the rope. I also love the concept this rope, artfully tied can hold a huge boat that weighs tons... sitting on water, that makes it virtually weightless, and if it wasn't tied up, it could and would carry it off to sea.
Ok... I rambled a bit up there, one of those "are-we-really-here" kind of moments, but I still find it cool.

Jersey City at Sunset
Another one of my photos from my (sunset) Manhattan boat cruise on August 26th. As much as I LOVE this picture, I hate it at the same time. I was a SPLIT second late taking it... the sun isn't directly behind the building. (boo me)
