From Saturday May 29th.  I LOVE books and reading.  I want to be known to my grandkids and the neighborhood kids as the weird old lady with all the books :)

Hollowed out books

My main gift to all my family and friends as a hollowed out book.  It was fun to pick out a book for each person, making sure it fit their personality and/or likes.  It was not fun to cut them all up.  Some books cooperated, some did not.  Those that didn't had thin or fragile pages that tore and didn't always cut the way I wanted.  Everyone seemed to love them, and that's all that mattered.
