Posts in the Grass

Another LBI photo... I can't decide whether or not I like the out of focus single blade of grass or not...

Among other things, I forgot to post most of my LBI photos from August... so here is one!

NOT photoshopped or otherwise edited!

So I was looking around for photo to showcase in the art section of my website and i came across one of the VERY few surviving photos from "The Crash of 2008". I took it on a family vacation to Long Beach Island, NJ in 2007. And I took it at night!!!

I kept the shutter open for about 30 seconds (it was 1.5 years ago... so i am not totally sure). The light streak across the sky is from the moon while i set the camera down. I meant to have it already set down when i pressed the shutter button, but things didn't go as planned... and here is my beautiful accident!

To me it looks like someone is drawing in the sky. I love it!
