I've been so busy with life and art that I forgot to mention a little thing that happened right before I went on vacation to Italy...

The official STARBUCKS Instagram regrammed a photo of one of my doodle Starbucks cups!!!!

It was great to read all the nice things people said about it, and it was hilarious to read what the "haters" had to say. It was an amazing day, and now, (almost) 6,000 Instagram followers later the support is still so heart warming :)

Friday Five #25

This week black and white line designs inspired me:

1. These beautiful tiles make different patterns when they are alone, and when they are put together (Pinterest)

 2. Great line placement, it is minimal but you still know what it is (Pinterest)

3. I just love circle/mandala doodles (Pinterest)

 4. There is a strong likely hood that I will be making and selling these (Pinterest)

5. I need to figure out how to get my doodles onto fabric like this (Pinterest)

Friday Five #23

This used to be called Inspiration #--, but let's be real, 'Friday Five' sounds better. Well... in all honesty, I borrowed the name from Design-Milk.

1. I just LOVE this (Pinterest)

4. Let's wallpaper my entire house with this exact wallpaper pattern and call it a day. LOVE. (Pinterest)

I'm Back (Again)

I feel like I post one of these every few months! It's hard being an artist, but not doing your art as your "day job". I feel like I am constantly trying to find a balance between: work, my art, my husband, cleaning, cooking, exercising and relaxing. One area always gets more attention than the others. Since my blog is a minor part of my art, it falls even further to the wayside sometimes. 

The past few months I spend way too much time on my art, I sacrificed a lot. But even then I didn't even get to blog. So I will try and catch you up the next week or so :) Stay tuned.
